Summit Publishing Company Inc. and Philippine Entertainment Portal Inc. (“Summit Media”) is committed to protecting your data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 or Republic Act No. 10173 (DPA), its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR), pertinent issuances of the National Privacy Commission, and other relevant laws. Our Privacy and Cookie Policy will provide information on what data we collect, how we will use your data, and how you can access, update, or take control of the data we have collected from you
By utilizing our Services and participating in the Services of Summit Media websites/activities you confirm that you have read and understood our our Privacy Policy. Summit Media may make changes to our Privacy Policy from time to time by posting the updated version of the policy on the Summit Media website.
Who We Are – Summit Media is incorporated in the Philippines. We are responsible for personal information collected directly through a Summit Media website/microsite for the purpose of managing the Services in accordance with this Policy.
What Data We Collect – We may collect the following information:
Contact details such as full name, email address, home address, and mobile number;
Demographic details such as gender, age, birthdate, and income bracket;
Comments, feedback, suggestions, reviews, and other content submitted, including survey information;
Interests and communication preferences for marketing communications;
Social Media Accounts; and
Content for streaming, social media posts, marketing campaigns, press releases, and/or digital and/or physical publication, including photographs, video footage, and audio recordings.
How and Why Data is Used – We will collect the appropriate data through the Summit Media website/microsite, taken at the Event, and/or captured, posted, and/or shared via hashtags used in various streaming and social media platforms. We will use the contact details, demographic details, comments, survey results, interests, preferences, and content (E.g., photographs, video footage, and audio recordings):
To provide more targeted marketing communications for you;
To confirm your attendance at the Event;
For promos, contests, or offers;
To publicize the Event before, during, and/or after the Event;
To comply with and exercise our rights under contracts and agreements as may be required by our operations and in pursuit of our legitimate business and commercial objectives;
To adhere to legal and regulatory requirements or obligations such as the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA); and
To perform such other processing or disclosure that may be required under law or regulations.
How We Work with Third Parties – We will not share your personal information with third parties unless necessary for the above-mentioned purposes on how we use your data and unless you give your consent thereto if required by law. Any personal information shared with such third parties shall also be covered by appropriate agreements, if applicable, to ensure that all personal data shared are adequately safeguarded. By providing your information to Summit Media, you authorize Summit Media to disclose your personal data to accredited/affiliated third parties or independent/non-affiliated third parties, whether local or foreign, as necessary for the proper execution of the processes related to the declared purposes in this Privacy Policy; or if the use or disclosure is reasonably necessary, required by or authorized under law. This means we may provide or disclose your personal data to the following:
To our affiliates, subsidiaries, parent company, partner companies or merchants, organizations, or agencies (including their contractors, or sub-contractors) as well as prospective business partners in relation to any purpose set out in this Privacy Policy.

Any information that is anonymized, so that it will no longer be able to identify you as an individual, may be shared with or sold to third parties.
How Long We Keep the Data – We will only retain your data for as long as is necessary and as permitted by law. The length will depend on the data, its use, and the law. If Summit Media is required to retain any portion of your personal data for below purposes, it shall use reasonable efforts to limit such data to what is necessary to accomplish a particular purpose:
For news and content published and shared, they will remain in the digital publication, streaming platform, and/or social media platform used while these remain in operation or until you have requested through the proper channels for their deletion.
For the marketing communications, they will continue so long as the purposes of the communications remain unfulfilled or until you have requested through the proper channels for their deletion.
We will keep the data if it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, to resolve a dispute, and/or to protect Summit Media and/or the sponsors of the Event.
Your Rights – As a data subject, you have rights according to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations that you may exercise any time you feel necessary.
The right to be informed – Go Rewards ensures that it has notified and furnished you any information you need before processing your personal data;
The right to access – you have the right to find out what information we hold about you and gain reasonable access to this information;
The right to object – you have the right to object or withhold your consent to process your personal data;
The right to erasure or blocking – you have the right to suspend, withdraw or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of your personal data;
The right to damages – you have the right to claim compensation if you have suffered damages due to inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, unlawfully obtained, or unauthorized use of your personal data, considering any violation of your rights and freedom as a data subject;
The right to file a complaint – you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) if you feel that we have misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed, your personal data or that any of your data privacy rights have been violated;
The right to rectify – you have the right to dispute and correct any inaccuracy or error in the data we hold about you; and
The right to data portability – you have the right to obtain and electronically move, copy, or securely transfer your data.
These rights are designed to empower you and ensure that your personal data is handled in a fair, transparent, and responsible manner. In some instances, the exercise of these rights will undergo further validation and assessment; and may not be granted to ensure implementation of certain services such as fraud investigation, legal proceedings, and other services related to Summit Media.
The DPA requires you to exercise your rights as described in this Policy in a reasonable and non-arbitrary manner. All requests, demands, or notices which you may make under this Policy or applicable laws must be made in writing.

Changes to this Privacy Policy – We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you via your contact information and/or by updating our website/microsite. Your continued attendance at the Event after such posting/sharing constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
